Join us for wine, cheese, onsite childcare (please rsvp to ensure this service), and a salon of scintillating performance including singers Lily Storm, Mantra Plonsey and Heather Lukens, violinist David Ryther, experimental Jazz combo The Hat, as well as a surprise guest artist or three. Champagne bubbles will alight, low lamps will cast long shadows, music will soar, and Dandelions will abound.
Haven't you always wanted to come to Shawl-Anderson in the evening in non-dancer clothes with a real hairdo and imagine what it was like back in the days when people lived inside its grand yet cozy walls and made merry? Now is your chance--and for such a good cause! (To get a door a door prize, come dressed as your all-time favorite mom!)
Join us and bring your friends!

Born from a seven-women ensemble of dancers, actresses, singers and writers, this will be an evening of haunting, hilarious and sensuous dance-theater for everyone.
This project is supported by a residency at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center and grants from Theatre Bay Area CA$H grant, the Zellerbach Family Fund, the East Bay Community Foundation, an anonymous foundation as well as many generous individual donors.
